How to Apply: SFA Sponsors

Steps to participate in the Summer Food Service Program - 2017

There are 5 major steps needed to be approved and to begin operation of the program. 

Includes new and returning Traditional Public School Districts, Charters Schools and Non-Public (Private) Schools currently participating in the National School Lunch/School Breakfast Program.

STEPSITEMS REQUIRED
1 Pre-Qualification
  • Complete the Statement of Intent Form
  • Mail the document with original signatures to the State Agency on or before April 3. Cynthia Ervin will accept your Statement of Intent Form if you have appropriate signatures when attending the Annual Conference.

2 Complete On-Line Application NEW SFAs

RETURNING SFAs

Review the SFA Online Application Instructions for directions on completing and submitting your Online Application.
3 Required Annual Continuing Education Next STEP will be announced.
4 SFSP Sponsor Action Plan Next STEP will be announced.
5 Start the Program After Approval Next STEP will be announced.
